Most of her clients experience issues including co-occurring disorders. Clients need support understanding why they make certain choices and the impact of those choices. Her goal is to help her clients identify and practice positive coping skills to manage their mental health and substance use.
She has combined experience as an addictions counselor and works with family’s using the Functional Family Therapy model for adolescents involved with the department of corrections. Her area of focus is working with individuals and families to overcome traumatic experiences that present as depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, or substance abuse.
